Last week I was contacted by Sophie Racquez of The Idea Monopoly. She brought to my attention the Brussels Innova Fair, which will be organized on November 13-15. Brussels Innova is a professional and international exhibition on Innovation, Research and New Technologies. The event is free of charge if you register in advance on the website and will take place in Hall 2 of Brussels Expo (Belgium).

Brussels Innova brings 8000 m² of exhibition space, with 30 countries represented, 3000 professional visitors, 500 innovations presented and a prestigious innovation award ceremony. In addition there is a vast programme of conferences and debates, as well as one-to-one meetings scheduled via an online speed-dating tool.

On February 26-27, the 2nd annual Open Innovation Conference was held at The Venetian in Las Vegas. Darin Eich was there for Open Innovators and blogged about the conference. To roundup, a list of Darin’s posts:

I will be attending the Plugg Conference on Wednesday, March 19 in Brussels. Plugg is a one day conference focused on European start-ups in the Web / Mobile 2.0 field. In combination with an impressive list of speakers, there will be a place for 20 start-ups to showcase their ventures and realizations. One of them will walk away with the Plugg Start-Up of the Year Award. I will be interviewing during the conference together with Nick De Mey from MouseOver.be.
