Together with Nick De Mey, I have just started with a new project: BoardOfInnovation.com. The Board of Innovation will bring together a panel of innovation experts that will comment on newly developed tools, and share their insights in a monthly topical discussion. Our aim is to gather very practical tips and examples around specific concepts as business model innovation, crowdsourcing, and service innovation.

A key aspect is the build-up of a database of existing and innovative business models from across the globe and across industries. By mapping out business models with generic elements, you can make them easily understandable. Our aspiration is to map innovative business models from Zopa, Skype, free newspapers, YouTube, RadioHead… and make the underlying innovation tangible for application in other industries. We hope you will find it useful, suggest new business concepts, co-create a robust modelling approach… Looking forward to it!
